Goodiary Update(1.5.0) : Tag collection (filter) feature, Events feature, Pin to top feature etc

 Hello from Goodiary!

Thanks to our users consistently sending us feedback, we’ve added some incredibly useful new features to Goodiary this time around, and we’ve also made overall performance improvements. Here’s a closer look at what’s new in this update.

  1. Tag Collection (Filter) Feature

    Recently, we received many comments like, “I want to record various notes in a diary, but it’s hard to categorize!” Now, you can easily categorize entries by using tags and view only the entries under a specific tag all at once.

  2. Pin-to-Top Feature

    We often heard requests like, “I’d like to quickly check important entries.” So, we introduced a pin-to-top feature! If there’s an entry that you need to edit or frequently check, simply pin it to the top so you can open it quickly anytime.

  3. Additional Notifications (Diary of the Day, Time Capsule)

    Have you ever forgotten about an old diary entry that you wrote a while ago? With this update, you’ll receive notifications on days where you have entries from a long time ago, allowing you to rediscover past memories. Additionally, you’ll be notified before your Time Capsule opens, so you won’t miss those important moments!

  4. Left-Right Swipe Navigation (Calendar, Time Capsule Screens)

    Now, when reading entries on the calendar or Time Capsule screen, you can conveniently swipe left or right to move to the previous or next diary entry. There’s no need to return to the list every time, making the experience even more convenient.

  5. Schedule Feature Added (Home, Information View Screen)

    A schedule feature has been added to the Home screen. It can sync with your phone’s calendar so you can view your schedule, and when you’re in the reading screen, you can also see any event recorded on that same date.

  6. Improved Performance for [Photos of the Day]

    You can now easily swipe left or right within Goodiary itself to view photos and videos. Previously, you had to jump to your phone’s default gallery app to check pictures, but now you can browse them directly without any inconvenience.

  7. Changed Map (Information View) Function

    On the map view screen, events from your phone’s calendar are now displayed as well. It’s more convenient because you can see both the location you wrote your diary entry and any events scheduled for that date at a glance.

  8. Other UI and Performance Improvements

    Lastly, we’ve given the UI and overall performance an upgrade. We’ve optimized everything down to the smallest details to make it faster and smoother.
